Dinner first, or play first
The floor opens at 10 a.m. every day, so play can come first on any afternoon. Live tables start later, at 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. on the days they run. Should one of you be waiting for a table, that gap may suit dinner.
When dinner can be is the open question. The Well Public House does not clearly post its hours, and a call to 604-701-3800 settles it.
On most nights the floor closes at midnight, or at 1 a.m. after Friday and Saturday. Before setting out, the concierge desk suggests the two of you agree on the order and the leaving time.
Around the last hour
Two sets of floor hours are posted. One runs from 10 a.m. to midnight, or to 1 a.m. after Friday and Saturday. The other runs from Sunday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., and from Friday to Sunday, 9 a.m. to 2 a.m. So the hour before 10 a.m. and the hour after the usual close are uncertain, and a call to 604-701-3800 settles it.
Times here are Pacific, and British Columbia now keeps Pacific time all year, so clocks do not change. A session that runs past midnight ends early the next calendar day. Holiday hours are not published; the same number answers that question.

- Sunday and Monday: live tables run from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., and the floor usually closes at midnight. On Sunday, bingo also runs from 11:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m.
