Before you go

Before the two of you set out

Before the two of you leave home, make sure each person carries government-issued photo ID and is 19 or older. Keep the address, 8180 Young Road, and the phone number, 604-701-3800, for questions such as parking or holiday hours.

Photo ID for each person

Each of you shows government-issued photo ID at the door, whatever your age. Since June 26, 2023, this applies to every person entering a B.C. casino. Security scans the card and checks it against the list of people restricted from entering, such as people enrolled in Game Break. For anyone let in, the system does not save personal information.

Accepted cards include a B.C. or North American driver's licence, the BCID, the B.C. Services Card and a Canadian or international passport. A Canadian citizenship or permanent resident card, a Secure Certificate of Indian Status card and government-issued foreign ID also work. The legal age for gambling in British Columbia, casinos included, is 19. Should the evening include live music at The Well Public House, each of you needs two pieces of valid ID.

Address and distances

Elements Casino Chilliwack is at 8180 Young Road, Chilliwack, BC V2P 4N9, and the phone number is 604-701-3800. In a straight line from the casino, Chilliwack city centre is 2.3 km away, Mission 24.5 km and Abbotsford 29.9 km. Hope sits at 44.7 km, Langley at 51.9 km and Vancouver at 85.6 km. Road distances are longer, and this guide gives no driving times.

No parking, bus or taxi details are posted, so a call to 604-701-3800 is the way to ask. Times here are Pacific time. British Columbia keeps Pacific time all year, so clocks do not change in spring or fall. A session that runs past midnight ends early the next calendar day.

Ownership and the province

Great Canadian Entertainment opened the casino on Young Road in 2012. Ownership changed in July 2026, once all regulatory approvals were in. The new owner is an entity affiliated with Ts'elxwéyeqw Tribe Management Ltd., and it represents participating communities of the Ts'elxwéyeqw Tribe.

Gambling in British Columbia is legal only when the provincial government runs it. BCLC manages all commercial gambling in the province, casinos and online gambling included.
